Meet our Leadership Team

Barry has been involved in ministry for over 30 years. He was drawn to ministry while he was attending the University of Texas at Arlington. After graduating from UTA he attended Abilene Christian University and served as the youth minister for the Rising Star Church of Christ. After graduating from ACU, Barry became the campus minister for the Huntsville Church of Christ at Sam Houston State. In 2005, Barry moved to the Austin area to preach for the Lake Travis Church of Christ. Most recently, in 2013, Barry became the preacher for the Covington Church of Christ. Barry and his wife, Kelly, have three daughters. In his free time, Barry enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies and working on cars.
Barry Pritchard, Minister

Stan Martin was born June 12th 1955. He was the 3rd of 4 children. He was raised in a farming and ranching family and loved it from the time he was small. He graduated in 1973 from Silverton High school in the Texas panhandle. He married Roma Clayton in 1974 and began a family. He and Roma had 3 beautiful boys over the next 6 years.
Stan learned to weld and worked at a welding shop and continued farming until 1987 when he loaded up his family and moved to Cleburne, Texas. He began working at the supercollider in ’87 and worked for various welding companies until 2000 when he started his own company . In 2002, Stan was appointed as an elder at Covington Church of Christ. He loves the Lord, his family and his church family.

Bill Morgan was born in Hamilton county October, 1941. He grew up in Arlington where he graduated from Arlington High School. After graduation he worked at American Can Co. until its closing in 1987. The following years he worked for LTV and the Everman schools before retiring in 1999 to the Covington ranch. Bill married Jane Wooten in 1962 and they were blessed with two children, Kelly and Blaine and seven grandchildren: Hannah, Riley, Molly, Rex, Brigid, Rusty and Ella. Bill served as a deacon at the Mansfield Church of Christ from 1974-1999. He was asked to serve the Covington church as an elder in 2002.

Randy Stowe was born May 22, 1952 in Ft Worth. He was the eldest of three children. Randy graduated in 1970 from Burleson High School. After graduation he was in the Naval Reserves. In 1973 he took over the family business. Randy married Linda Pipkin in 1975 and they were blessed with two sons, Matthew and Aaron. They have 4 grandchildren. Randy and Linda attended the Burleson Church of Christ before moving to Covington in 2004. Randy serves as a song leader, loves his church and church family. He was asked to serve as an elder in 2016.

Aaron Timmons was born and raised in Matador, Texas. After graduating from Matador High School he earned his Masters Degree in Engineering Technology at West Texas State University. In 1980 Aaron began a 34 year career with Bell Helicopter where he retired in 2014. Aaron and his wife Pam have 3 sons, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Aaron has taught Bible classes for teens and adults, has served as an Elder since 2017 and became a Sojourner in 2019. Aaron and his wife Pam reside in Cleburne.

Steven Cordell is a lifelong resident of Covington and member of the Covington Church of Christ. Steven graduated from Covington High School in 1994 where he met his wife, Tephanie Elkins, who he married in 1995. Steven and Tephanie have three beautiful daughters: Morgan Vaughn, Brooke Cordell and Lily Cordell. Morgan and her husband Ryne also recently blessed them with their first grandchild, Jared. Steven graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering in 2005 and has been working at Bell Helicopter ever since. Steven has served as a deacon in the Covington Church since 2017.

Ky Martin spent his early years in the Texas Panhandle town of Silverton Texas until 1986 when his family moved to the Cleburne/Grandview area. He and his family became members of the Covington Church of Christ in 1988. After graduating from Grandview High School he married his high school sweetheart Amy Moulder and began working in the petro chemical and refinery specialty welding business. Ky and Amy have three beautiful children Kyleigh, Keaton, and Kreagan. They also have one spunky grandson, Jayden. Ky currently serves as a deacon and also on the Grandview school board. He loves to serve his fellow Christians and community while continuing to weld, farm, and ranch.

John Latham and his wife, Phyllis, are blessed with three children and three wonderful grandchildren. John serves as an Active-Duty Chaplain in the Texas State Guard and is retired from the USPS. John holds a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Amberton University. John and his family were active members at the Brown Street Church of Christ in Waxahachie before moving to Hill County. John and Phyllis feel very blessed to serve and worship with the Covington church family.

David Fair was born July 1949, oldest of four children. He grew up on a small farm in Burleson. He graduated Burleson High School in 1967. He graduated Tarrant County Junior College in 1970, with an Associate Degree in Electronics. The same year he began his career with Southwest Bell Telephone/AT&T as a communications technician. He retired after 40 years in 2010. David and wife Linda have three children, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He enjoys gardening, camping and fishing. His father, Carl Fair, was a longtime elder at Covington Church of Christ before his death. David loves his church family and his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. David became a deacon in October 2024.

Harvey Gross was born on the family farm in Mid-Michigan where he learned well and appreciated the worth of honesty and hard work and what it brought to the family. He carries that devoted spirit still today. Upon high school graduation he entered the Air Force and proudly served his country from 1967-1971. It was there that he was trained as a machinist. His last assignment was at Carswell AFB in Fort Worth. He decided to stay in Texas and continued to live his life and raise his family in the Burleson area. He is currently retired, having worked in management at the same location for 43 years. He and his wife Denise have raised four wonderful children and are so blessed to have eleven (so far) grandchildren. Harvey and Denise have been members and served the Covington congregation since 2004. He gladly accepted the office of Deacon in 2024.
